REFLEXOLOGY
The art of reflexology has been practised for over 500 years. It is a non-intrusive complementary therapy, which is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, ears and face correspond to different areas of the body. Reflexologists believe that working these points aids relaxation and helps improve well-being. This gentle therapy encourages the body to work naturally to restore its own health balance.
it helps us to cope on a physical, mental and emotional level, thereby encouraging us to heal and maintain health in all areas of our lives.
This therapy is suitable for all ages and may bring relief from a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.
Reflexology may be effective for:
Sports Injuries - Hormonal Imbalances - Arthritis - Digestive Disorders - Sleep Disorders - Fertility - Migraine - Back & Neck - Pain.

Improved Relaxation - Stronger Immune System - Stabilised Blood Pressure - Improved Energy, Sleep and Circulation - Elimination of Toxins - Pain and Stress Relief
MATERNITY REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology can be used throughout pregnancy and it can help general well-being. It will allow women to take time out from their busy schedule in order to focus purely on themselves and their growing baby, as well as helping 'mums-to-be' to prepare for labour.
Regular treatments can reduce stress levels, eliminate minor discomforts and generally allow 'mums-to-be' to feel relaxed and pampered.
BABY AND TODDLER REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology can also be used for babies and toddlers, which is usually a much shorter treatment compared to older children and adults. It can help relieve constipation, colic and other digestive problems. It can strengthen the immune system in order to support the body's fight against kidney infections and childhood diseases. Additionally it can offer relief from general coughs and colds, chest infections, asthma, sore throat, other allergies and general ear, nose and throat afflictions.
Finally it can promote sleep, relaxation and deep breathing.
1 1/2 hour 'Mother & Baby Reflexology Pamper Session' is designed to advise, support and pamper the mother.
The first 1/2 hour is dedicated to teaching the mother Reflexology skills, so she learns a short Reflexology routine for her baby to use at home in order to help him/her with sleep and digestive issues, etc.
The remaining hour is purely a pamper treatment for the mother, while a friend or relative ideally looks after the baby. During pregnancy the body goes through many changes and this treatment can allow the mother to re-balance hormone levels, regenerate overall and have time to purely focus herself. Reflexology aims to optimise the physical and emotional health of mothers through working on specific points of the feet. These reflexology points correspond to different parts of the body. Reflexologists work holistically. They can also provide general lifestyle advice and offer support. Relaxation during the treatment can also aid a disrupted sleeping pattern and after the treatment mothers often feel refreshed, relaxed and ready to devote their time to their baby again.
FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY
A Facial Reflexology Session is designed to deeply relax, regenerate and re-energise. A lot of tension can be held in the face and yaw muscles, which the client is not aware of. By working on specific reflexology points on the face, which correspond to different parts of the body, it has also shown to be effective for: Back Pain, Migraine, Sleep Disorders, Hormonal Imbalances, Digestive Disorders, Stress-related conditions, Anxiety, Mood, Softening of frown lines, Improved skin texture, etc.
This treatment can be used to help restore the body's natural equilibrium. This gentle therapy encourages the body to work naturally
to restore its own healthy balance and some women have commented that afterwards if feels as if the face has had a mini face-lift.
Cost for all the above treatments - £60.00 - 1 hr
